The Friends of Campion Foundation (FCF) is an independent organization that acts in coordination with the academy board, and as projects and needs are identified coordinates fund-raising with the academy. Because FCF is a separate organization, donated funds are “fenced” from operations funds. Gifts go exclusively to special earmarked projects, not to day-to-day expenses. The Foundation has adopted a set of bylaws providing structure for a volunteer board of officers comprised of CA alumni and friends of the academy. Honors are granted at the following donation levels:

$10,000 + Platinum

$5,000 - $9,999 Gold

$1,000 - $4,999 Silver

$500 - $999 Member

Due to the generosity of @ 100 donors to FCF and in some cases directly to the academy, as well as gifts from the Rocky Mountain Conference of SDA’s, accomplishments over the last four years have included the following projects:

* Boys dorm bathrooms remodeled • Girls and Boys dorms re-carpeted

* Administration building restrooms remodeled • Girls dorm bathrooms ventilation systems

* Gymnasium re-roofed • Ad building & girls dorm re-carpeting @ 5,000 sq. ft.

* Administration building re-roofed ($110,000) – funded by the Rocky Mountain Conference of SDA’s

* Campus master plan - funded by the Rocky Mountain Conference of SDA’s

* Hankins Hall totally remodeled – generously donated by Mimi Danihel, CA 63

2010–2011 Proposed projects:

* Girl’s dorm boiler, a separate and more energy efficient unit – estimated cost of $40,000

The third annual meeting of the Foundation will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2010, 9–10:30 a.m. in the Heritage Room of the administration building. Current voting members plus interested and prospective members are also encouraged to attend. Attendees will receive a detailed financial report on the first three years of the Foundation and are encouraged to participate in plans for the future.
